but i will comment on the other stuff - the duck gods are such a fuckin' delight, honestly. These could have easily been one episode characters, but the fact they made Storkules a recurring character is hilarious to me. I died at all his scenes.

(also I wish Lena could have seen Webby go all Commanding Weather Goddess and gotten a severe case of the 'wrong place wrong time dokidokis')

Scrooge apologizing is a big deal! Della trying so hard to be a supporting mom!

... but let's be real THE ROMANCE OF THE CENTURY TOOK THE SHOW

and I do like that Daisy's complaints (dont be his mom, etc) were like... legitimate things to be concerned over, in the sense kids should be told you shouldn't have to feel like that in a relationship! So many cartoons/sitcoms/etc make it okay that the girl basically does have to treat her man like another kid she's raising and THAT'S NOT COOL.

Speaking of subversions, HOLY CRAP, I'm looking up and a modern portrayal of Hades where he's NOT evil?!

Yeah man, he's just doing his thing. What a relief.

Which HE ALWAYS DID!

Like Zeus and Poseidon are going after women left and right and making things hard for mortals when the only times Hades messed with people were when they messed with him, and even then he could be reasoned with.

I was chin-handsing the entire episode

Frank knows what we want, puts on a mailman's uniform, gets to the right address asap, and FUCKING DELIVERS

He gets paid in our tears both happy and suffering

and next week is the first adventure with YOUNG DONALD AND DELLA
