generally speaking if the margin of the lead is lower than the percent of votes left to count then a flip is still possible

so if, for example, it's 60% counted and one candidate is leading by say 8%, then it could easily flip in the 40% remaining to be counted

you shouldn't be surprised if the numbers seem to favor trump initially and then start favoring biden as more votes are counted. basically, the count for red voters is front-loaded
