[ducktales spoilers] thinking about my favorite thing that several others have definitely talked about

where do you go, villain-wise, from a ageless witch who wants revenge on her arch-nemesis, or a race of aliens determined to conquer/destroy the earth

you go with a shadowy organization operating behind the scenes that.... wants money

and hates the fact that everything that's happened so far is making them less money

Bradford is just really angry that he's in a cartoon

I can't remember who said it, but the concept of a villain in ducktales whose motivation is "he hates the concept of ducktales"

is Good

its so good

Using cartoon logic to become a villain so he can avenge the cartoon heroes

Scaling back villains is my favorite thing in the world

it's WAY better than constantly scaling up

it also means you can rubberband back to a "big" threat if you want later

without fatigue setting in
