Dragon Man Update

For those of you who are new here, one of my regular students goes by the Alias "dragon man" for the internet (he also calls himself that in class a lot)

we've also been doing the thing where we discuss different kinds of sentences - statements, questions, commands, exclamations

now whenever I ask for an example of a command, his go-to is

"I order you to go to Fartlandia!"

I love the weird-ass things that students come up with. It's so good.

okay but chinchillas are an alpine species, and tend to need a frozen block to help them regulate temperature so

i can absolutely see where a child might be confused

given that the common brands are called chinchilla chillers

and swapping out the chinchilla chillers for freshly frozen ones at closing time was one of my favorite jobs
