[rp, life] i really want to do tags but i gotta finish this coding challenge for my dev program app in the next 5 days and my brain is steadily turning to mush

things that are cool: booleans, functions as long as im not trying to think too hard about numbers

things that are less cool: when the build curriculum throws a weird loop block at me and expects me to know why it Does That

this is all a somewhat roundabout way to say: yesterday i realized my issue with numbers is probably dyscalculia and that's why basic math makes my brain go to hell. idk why it took me this long to connect the dots on that one

in rp news this tdm is funnn i wanna tag more people. gonna try to finish this as fast as possible so i can get back to it

GETTING...THERE......

i've been going through the build curriculum with a wordpad doc open where i just...type the words i've been reading in so they actually sink in. it's been helpful! it also helps to talk to myself in the notes so that i can deconstruct the problem, since speaking out loud mostly just causes me to go in loops (ha)
