fml my call notifs were muted apparently and i didn’t notice the GM from one of the jobs i applied to called me to set up an interview for... today. at 5. and i caught this at 1pm today. i thought it was taking a while to hear back im so mad at myself lol

idk how i turned my alerts off but i shoulda been checking my voicemails. i called them today to tell them i was available for today at 5 if she was still available but it’s so short notice i know it’s looks bad

rescheduling is fine too but she doesn’t get in until 4 and it takes me an hour to walk there...

so whether or not i hear from her i’m gonna have to start walking just in case

it's not ideal but unless they called you like... 2 weeks ago I think it's probably fine! esp if they wanted to schedule you on short notice, they probably expect people to not be able to respond right away

more like it might not be unreasonably short notice on your timescale, but there's going to be other candidates out there who can't make something on short notice so hopefully they'd expect that their proposed time won't work for everyone!

well not only did i not hear anything but i saw her interviewing someone at 4:30 cuz i walked by womp i’ll follow up tomorrow if i didn’t already lose the chance but i think that was that.. just gonna keep hunting ugh
