sef_lopod
with lots of different converters today to create something for YouTube.
sef_lopod
started with NoteWorthy Composer to create a simple waltz rhythm track and unobtrusive chord sequence (so it isn't too boring). That's NWC format.
sef_lopod
able to save directly from that to MIDI (type 1) file format.
sef_lopod
an audio converter thingy some time back which can turn MIDI into MP3 (or WAV - but I also have another music editing program which can convert between MP3 and WAV).
sef_lopod
my favourite image editing package for making a simple GIF (but it could have been a PNG or JPG if necessary).
sef_lopod
to use an online converter tool to combine the MP3 with the GIF to make an MP4 "video" (which I can't play on my computer at all).
sef_lopod
then finally uploaded the MP4 to YouTube which added its own level of file processing to generate a video which I can see and hear - as can any of the people who might actually need a simple waltz rhythm track.
sef_lopod
this is a ridiculously large number of steps. But at least it did work.
Lemongrass
yay for format-munging!
sef_lopod
have to do it all over again for the next beginners dance rhythm.
