[Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory] demo impressions

It's..... a kingdom hearts game but a rhythm game

I don't understand the salt

It plays exactly like you'd think it would

the controls had me for a minute before I realized that you can attack any one enemy on screen with X, regardless of where they are

unless there's 2 in which case L1 and R1 work just as fine anywhere

I managed As and Bs on my first tries which. granted I'm on beginner

I kinda wish the demo didn't spit you out after a few attempts tho

I've honestly never played Theatrhythm either, so I can't make any comparisons to it

or the switch version, seeing as I'm on the ps4

a few of the button prompts could be better though like when there's a ton of enemies coming at you quickly

there's separate sliders for the sfx and voices so you can just listen to the music

so that's neat

yeah I played it too, and considering we had Atlantica to compare it to i was real impressed. I enjoyed it quite a bit

lmao honestly i just need to get used to seeing heartless and not immediately button mashing

pressing the x button to the beat is a New Feeling

i got the switch version bc......i have friends who also are rhythm game people and that sounds like fun, but THAT i am gonna have to get used to too, it uses the same layout at least but i'm gonna be thinking of the magic button as the triangle button forever
