I have come to the conclusion that my snake is for me what a dog or cat is for most people.

Holding him and having him slither around me is so comforting.

Also, I am just so badly on the strugglebus today.

Everything is hitting my everything and it's not good.

I noticed holding my snake makes me calmer too. It's something about the cool scales and the way he moves combined with the "no sudden movements or he spooks" thing that makes me. Chill.
