It sounds like Carcer is the main antagonist but also that they've basically completely rebuilt him as a character from the ground up

They talk about how Carcer is a guy who's been broken down by the system and is raging against the rules of reality by trying to change how the universe works because he's out of other ideas and how you'll almost be rooting for him as much as you are the for the heroes because you'll really GET where he's coming from and why he's trying to destroy the city
