[dead parent club, cancer, grandparent death.] man i thought once it got late in the uk i'd have all the time in the world to tag. i don't think i do.

sometimes i really wish i wasn't like "i'm here for you with cancer stuff, i totally went through it and can talk to you about it." because so many times it ends up going badly. like in the cancer sucks way and not the i am bad at this way.

a friend of mine in the uk's mom got put on hospice today, they think days instead of weeks and fucking covid. so i was talking to them most of the day obviously, trying to be a support from 3000 miles away.

and then right when they go to bed, katie messages me that her grandmother's cancer has spread to her brain and so i'm going to be there for her 3200 miles in the other direction.

also fuck cancer and covid and trump.

and boris.

because neither they or katie can see their loved ones because fucking covid.
