But the page for requesting time off has a little calendar on it

Is this dot going to be used?

I'm sure there's some situation where that makes sense, but I have no idea what it is.

if it was just one dot for one stretch of time then i can understand it being for 'you can have some of these days but not all of them'
but it looks like there's a dot for each individual day so idfk

'we acknowledge that you may or may not have asked for this day off`

"we need two columns"

Does it need sign off from multiple people, and those statuses are meant to indicate partial or conflicting results?
