https://images.plurk.com/2HrVVwtU7IFoyUEMGVW4Uh.jpg Here's a Sunday puzzle. Can anyone read what's next to the X? It looks like urnid mania, but that makes no sense. My cousin is doing some genealogy and this is the cause of death of a great uncle.

Below that it mentions "Bronchial" and "Pulmonalis," so it's related to the lungs. https://images.plurk.com/854MXKFfpdN6jmiPVqNuJ.jpg

Did you try converting it back to a positive image? Sometimes that helps.

SteveBob : thanks! the bronchial is for the person below him, I think. Who knows? It was around 1900 and he was 5 months old, so they might have used a term that's not in use anymore.

Do you know any doctors?

Or an old pharmacist?

[A|U][r|s]mi[d|a]... Uremia? Since the three first lines seem to be written by the same hand, we can compare the letters with those in legible words. So my guess of a possible A as the first letter has to be ruled out, as he seems to close his round letters.
