group project member 3 hours before submission is due: "I'm not really sure what to write or talk about for my part"

Why are group projects like this

goddd

group projects are literally the worst and stupidest thing about any form of educational anything

1. Why are people incapable of doing their dang work more than a day ahead of due date when everyone else's work needs to reference theirs.
2. Why do academic institutes still use dumb group projects like power point presentations as a way of assessing people like it's any actual reflection of your knowledge

The entire week leading up to the due date I made sure the entire group knew I was going to be at the library most weekdays, and could give them some help or work on it with them to get it done if need be.

And they all ghosted the group chat until the day before it was due

With one putting his stuff up at 4 am the sunday it's due, (13 hours before deadline), and the other not even sure about his script 3 hours before submission deadline...

I honestly hate group projects so much

They're just the worst.
But hey, in better news the move is done, and the slides were handed in!
