I don't think any of mine have talked to Larry a lot, but Tesla probably assumes he's something like an Abnormal (ie: something/someone with non-human abilities)

(That assumption comes from a combination of Larry mentioning his film star bff and also the fact that Yunlan would be surprised if Larry went to a lot of effort to form close friendships with anyone -- so the closest friendships are most likely to come from people who are willing to pursue and interact with him.)

Norton has definitely wondered if Larry can at least masturbate, since he can't have sex at all.

I have such mixed feelings about the fact that this is a literal Doom Patrol plot point but he definitely can.

For non-sexytime...more pondering than assumption, he wonders if Larry feels connected to the modern world having lived through the decades and watched things change, or disconnected from it due to not going out much.

the second question is an interesting one I try to keep in mind because he seems to be much more culturally aware than I think one would generally expect him to be at his level of shut-in

probably not as much as Jane, but definitely more than Cliff or Rita -- and he even has an easier time with Danny's pronouns than Vic does

so he's keeping up to date somehow -- I headcanon that he definitely keeps up with the radio, less so with the TV, and maybe sometimes uses whatever computer Cliff snatches to stalk Clara's Facebook that one time

he gets a phone in s2 but I think that only happens once he's left the mansion
