this (final?) season has been... weird??

there are some good ones & some very EH ones like not terrible but i'm just not as fully engaged as i was tbh & i can't pinpoint where it rly lost me other than This Season

not being a big fan of jon/martin probably doesn't help. they DO have cute/sincere moments but that feels.... out of place given the situation???

i'll be honest i keep waiting for a big The Web reveal and i know thats not like, THE POINT Of the web BUT STILL LOL

the wrapup of Daisy & Basira felt clumsy overall like oof bad climate for our lesbian cop character huh well she's a slobbering beast now & her gf is gonna go do that with her, we guess, bye. which on paper i support but i dunno. HAVEN'T THOUGHT ABOUT IT MUCH BUT.. EH!

also the readings feel VERY filler at this point considering this is now solely a buddy road trip and we're just now like, finally getting something happening?? i'm gonna see it thru & i do still enjoy it enough to keep listening but i feel like the landing has been stumbled considering the high quality of content leading up to this

it just feels like its dragging for me altho the RECENT EPISODE (180) was an... interesting reveal??

so i'm tentatively invested tho i kinda wanna fast forward to them confronting elias bcuz it doesn't feel like much more is being accomplished than wrapping up loose ends/using story stuff that didn't make for a good full episode
