[Family] My dad... 100% idiot lol. Just had a full on argument with me over these adhesive wall hangers... That come in two parts...

One on the wall, one on the item frame, or in this case a mirror.

And they join with velcro.

So he bangs on about how he needs to now measure the wall and where to place the hangers. So I try and explain he doesn't. Just put the first part on the mirror, sticky the second to it's velcro buddy and slap it on the wall!

... No. He needs to MEASURE! How will he know where to put the sticky things if he doesn't measure?!

... You could... just... put it on the frame and... I dunno... slap it on the wall?

Took 10 minutes to get it through to him. Mum said leave him, SHE knew what I was saying, he was being an idiot. But I dunno, he was being so DUMB about it. Like making extra steps for something so simple, over-complicating it for himself, I just had to make him understand...

I literally saw the moment when it clicked lol

He was halfway through yelling at me how wrong I was and then was all "... maybe I can just stick it to the mirror"... >.>;;;;

So he's just gone up. Put the mirror up. Less than a minute. He would have been fannying about for ages if I'd just left him to himself!
