Harpy isn’t a person who can just accept “this makes me happier so that makes it better”; she is too defined by her ambition to not be constantly striving for something, so the easier it is to be with avante the more she will start to feel like she’s actually just being a coward and avoiding the more difficult path

Shrike and Nero are the ones Harpy feels mostly equal with (bc she originally declined to acknowledge Shrike’s seniority and acknowledging it this late after the fact would be a little weird, even though Shrike actually deserves it now in Harpy’s head) so she has the most bees about them making positive progress bc she’s not sure how she measures up yet

and while she does feel like she’s an upgrade from stupid amnesiac Harpy in most ways, she is kind of hyperaware of the fact that she’s also become an uglier, more resentful person

she doesn’t really have complicated feelings on either of them bc she does think of them both as having seniority over her so it’s more ok if they’re doing better without her, and also it feels easier to approach and work with them and like they’re both already more open with her (particularly Nemesis) so there’s no fear of getting boxed out or anything

KOHIME and MIKE she knew less well before (and she will probably continue to have trouble getting close with Mike because he has a personality she doesn’t do well with rip) so if they are any different she really hasn’t noticed at all, they seem the same to her
