Gaaah! The paperwork! The paperwork! Only filling in the checked spaces because I can't figure this thing out about electing non-membership in the employee benefit plan. I'm already drawing a pension from the state. I don't think $100 or so is going to add up to anything.

Yeah, I have a big pile of paperwork to fill out to be a poll worker in my county. We should get $120, I think, and I can really use the extra money. I heard, now, that they may revoke the day as a holiday which means I would have to work my regular job and not as a poll worker.

Unless I used a personal day to take the day off. Which I might do. Kinda late notice for them to be changing our work calendar, but this is a most unusual year.
