We were right, and the vet does think he's Pretty Old.

There's a lump on his belly that we were worried about, but it's apparently probably benign, and his back molars are infected, so they've said that when we bring him in to get his teeth cleaned, they'll remove it at the same time (since he'll be put under anaesthesia anyway)
