So Informed Delivery is broken. It is informed by scans on automatic sorters. According to Informed Delivery I had 2 pieces of mail. I perceived that as a result of the slowdown, but no. it is because they broke Informed Delivery. There were 18 pieces of mail in my box.

ugh noooo.. i rely heavily on this to keep from having to walk down my long ass driveway to the box when there's nothing in it

Oh great. I suppose I should check the mail. I usually don't bother if I don't see anything important in my Informed Delivery.

We have a fairly large mailbox that locks so I don't worry about leaving it, unless it's Otto's pills... those they leave on the porch so I have to watch for them. We've never had anything stolen off the porch but it happens all the time.

mine works... is it all of them? mine worked today.
Nimil
mine appears to be working now that i can get the website to load
(((Cajsa)))
The site works, the information was wrong. It said 2 pieces, there were 18
Nefekalum
Mine didn't work either but luckily the mailbox wasn't stuffed full.

I had thought it strange I hadn't gotten any mail notifications for a couple of days.
Nimil
my info is correct, maybe i just got lucky.. i checked with ben, we had no mail today and there was no mail listed

I have to get my mail at the post office (no delivery for us here in the wilds), and since the shutdown, I've only been going once a week. It's always crammed with stuff now, and I kind of like that better than stopping every day and finding it empty most of the time.

(((Cajsa))) : omg lol so wait... i'm new to ID, just had it about 10 days, my understanding was the scans you get are for "soon" to arrive mail? not necessarily that day? i'm loving it though. so much of my mail gets delievered to neighbors which is super problematic as many are here only part time.
(((Cajsa)))
ID tellls you what mail is arriving on that day...packages are the ones that tell you they are coming, sometimes before they are even sent, generated by the postage label
callie cline
(((Cajsa))) : ah ok!!! :-) makes sense.
