[natgoe] Belarus is in the spotlight this weekend after unprecedented opposition rallies against longtime authoritarian president Aleksandr Lukashenko, who is standing for a sixth term Sunday.
Despite the widespread protests, a recent government opinion poll reported more than 70 percent support for Lukashenko, forecasting another win in an election being conducted without the traditional independent European monitoring groups, which have found major flaws with the past four elections.

The underground theater group operates in defiance of hard-line authorities, with blatantly political and otherwise controversial subject matter.
