The fact that I have to input a random string of numbers into a bed like I'm trying to hack into someone's checking account just to visit the dream island of people I am already best friends with in Animal Crossing means I will never use the stupid bed.

I don't know why you can't just visit the dreams of your friends/have a random option

the easy answer is because they didn't want to update the UI.

why the hell do I have to have a 10 part conversation every time I want to visit someone else's Island?

why do I have to listen to CJ or Flick list off the same five sentences about the bug or fish catching competition every time I do it?

it's fine the first time, but on the 10th go round it's just frustration

i believe it is also in part because you are accessing a version of the island that exists only in the cloud? like I don't think changes to their islands update until the player updates their dream version etc.

(but I have not been on AC for a bit, this is just based on how new leaf worked)

if only there were some way to associate that info with the creator of said info

i guess they are figuring that if you are friends you'd just... go to their real island

that's making a number of assumptions about when my friends and I have free time
