I have a pet peeve that comes up in every single video essay channel on youtube

and it's when the audio switches between two obviously different takes

in the middle of a fucking sentence

like how bad do both of those takes sound in the other half that adding this weird halt in the middle sounds better

As someone who absolutely has done this, I apologize on behalf of the entire community.

it became a standard fine thing to do at some point and I wish it hadn't

i hate this too, it's so distracting
