When I was around 7 years old I met a woman who said something that had a huge impact on my life. She said...

"My baby can eat ice-cream for breakfast if she wants to!“

(heart) Grandma (heart)

I thought about her tonight when having ice cream for dinner with Plurkbaby.

I may have had ice-cream for breakfast too.
Cause I'm a rule breaker like that

I remember the awe on the face of one of my goddaughters when I told her she could have a chocolate brownie for breakfast once when she was staying with us.

I asked Aunt Joan about her in the letter sent last week. Both her and grandfather were immigrants I believe. Better ask questions before there's no one left to ask!

Indikon : You were the favorite from that moment on.

My grandmother used to make us sugar bread when she babysat. Bread and butter with sugar sprinkled on top. :-) She was a wonderful grandma.

And as for me... Fudgesicles for breakfast. :-)

Sugar bread was the real deal!

This grandmother lived across the country so I only recall seeing her twice. Once only from photos. Fudgesicles are equally as good as ice-cream for breakfast. It's the chocolate factor. ;-)
