Made it to the final boss in Donkey Kong Country - I've had the game for a while, but this is my first time playing through the whole thing.

Much like with Super Mario World, I got the game from relatives with a completed save file, which meant that I was less motivated to play through it myself.

Such a great game

I got through it once completely

I beat K. Rool! I was having trouble with his third phase, but once both Kong's survived his first two phases, I beat him!

It felt really good to accomplish that. The game was tough, but fair once I grinded enough lives.
