Have a kind of vague idea for my character’s magic style
BWAAAAAH!
They had to figure things out largely on their own so their magic is kinda formless
BWAAAAAH!
But what it does is creates a zone around them that is their “territory”
BWAAAAAH!
Their territory constantly reinforces them and constantly breaks down enemies
BWAAAAAH!
So anything that enters their area that they don’t like just takes constant chip damage
BWAAAAAH!
Main inspirations: Lizard Knight from LaBH and the aura shit in Pyre
BWAAAAAH!
They can focus to extend pseudopods of their territory out as a sort of projectile
BWAAAAAH!
To protect allies or attack enemies
BWAAAAAH!
It’s a very hard to avoid power but it’s also not super potent
BWAAAAAH!
If you’re strong enough you can just keep fighting inside it and only be at a slight disadvantage
BWAAAAAH!
And then they’re just kinda fucked
BWAAAAAH!
Like it basically just stacks a bunch of debuffs on you and if you’re still winning then “guess I’ll die”
BWAAAAAH!
They think they’re super cool but any proper mage would tear their hair out at how sloppy it is
