so - someone on twitter, a fan(?) or someone just in general reviewed the overhead footage on the lake and saw what appears to be a person leaning up against a rock, obstructed by some rubble.

today the ventura california police dp called them back and he or she gave them the exact minute of the video, footage where they zoomed in, and the exact coordinates longitude and latitude.

manipulative in general, you don't let go of 4 year old little boys. They tend to run a little wild at that age. Even if they are good boys, you always, always have an eye on them, and a sense of where they are in relation to you, and keep them close. Just a mother thing. shrug

My son does better when I don’t hold his hand and he is able to be more independent. It depends on the child? As long as there aren’t any immediate dangers around, some kids do better not being constantly kept close.

I didn’t see anything wrong with the footage and she probably knows her kid better than any of us do. She loved her son a lot and given that people have drowned or almost drowned in this lake a number of times, I don’t think it was anything other than a really tragic accident.

That’s fair, I just don’t think her distance from him has anything to do with that in general. A lot of people have been trying to use that exact thing to try and claim it’s proof she drowned herself with her son present so I’m prob just sensitive about it thanks to Twitter.

I was just talking about my children, and nothing pertaining to this. I would never ever suggest that. It's horrible that anyone would. This is just completely tragic all around. Boating accidents happen so often. I've had several friends die in them, and it's been so random how it happened each time.

Idk if people who are saying “the water was calm, she couldn’t have possibly drowned” have lived around lakes to be honest, or if they do they must not go to them often. I live in California and places like this lake have a fatality rate to them. I’m not 100% claiming to know what happened here, but people drown often
