I think part of why my time perception is so fucked is that I feel like things I can autopilot through don't/shouldn't actually take up time.

Daily tasks like showering or my commute are like. The cutscenes before a boss fight and mentally I'm pressing start to skip them but they aren't actually being skipped.

You know how if you get really into a book or game or something, and then you look up and suddenly it's hours later and you're like ??? That's basically how I feel all the time.

I guess? I'm just never truly conscious of the passage of time.
