[PKMN Metagame] Just some thoughts on what I've been experimenting with

So, lately I've been working on an Electric Terrain doubles team. It's been going FAIRLY well, although I will have to find a way to make Pincurchin more utilitarian besides setup and Toxic Spikes

I've partnered it with Gmax Venusaur (Earth Power, Venoshock, Leaf Storm, and Terrain Pulse), Zeraora (Fake Out, Volt Switch, Close Combat, and Plasma Fists), and I'm... trying to find a good final option.

I've been ATTEMPTING Urshifu with U Turn for that pivot action but I'm not sold on it. About to attempt Zamazenta instead.... my big fear is getting walled by Ground types, mostly. Arguably Venusaur should prevent that, but we'll see if it actually works that way.

Steel is no obstacle, as multiple Close Combat users and Venusaur's Earth Power prevent THAT one

Okay, well I have a SERIOUS problem countering Substitute+Focus Punch, with that team.... now that I know about it I can probably focus (ha) it down, but

It's not really like Urshifu is going to have a better time with that...... hm

Let's be real, what I really need is a god damn Swampert

I think my only real options in that regard are like.... Seismitoad, though. Quagsire and Whiscash aren't bulky enough.

Maybe I need a flier, but I'll have to be CAREFUL because I'm ON ELECTRIC TERRAIN and I already get a lot of Ice opposition thanks to the Battle Tower AI.... Ice and Fighting, mostly

Maybe, alternatively, FIRE.... but I'll have to find a way to keep that from getting WRECKED by all those Ground types....

I don't USUALLY get many of those because Pincurchin has Liquidate and my general Gmax choice is ofc Venusaur

But it's that or.... a water/ice type, which seems ILL AD FUCKING VISED

Also, I've realised we now have 3/4 of my Trick Room team allowed in SwSh....

Now, on the one hand, the Pokemon I really started playing Trick Room FOR is still missing

On the other, I've ALWAYS wanted to try a Torkoal sweeper in a Trick Room setting

....I'll have to consider replacing Reuniclus with something else that can take better advantage of Torkoal's Drought tho

I've been considering trying Runerigus in a Trick Room team but that doesn't really take advantage of Drought....
