[Real Life] Remember the fox encounter? It gets interesting... I went out to buy my lunch, and came home to find the folks had gone out and I had forgotten my key...

So I'm sitting on the deck, eating my sandwich, when I see something walk past the foot of the steps. I look up and saw the fox's tail disappearing around the corner.

I get up to toss the sandwich wrapper into the bin: there's the fox behind the bin, while two more foxes are frolicking about the woodpiles and things in the door yard.

The first fox backs away from me, I back away from him, he goes over with his little siblings.

So I sat on the deck and watched them frolicking around the back yard. And that one fox kept Watching Me. :: laughs gently ::

Either he doesn't trust me or he wanted more gingerbread.

My dad's leery of them, but I suspect they're probably just young and... since a lot of people have been on lockdown, the critters might be more fearless than usual?
