as far as teenage fathers of literally hundreds of nonexistent teenage girls go, charles was....i'm going to say pretty high on the list, mostly because he might be the only one on the list.

but then isn't he simultaneously on the bottom of the list if he's the only one on the list

he genuinely cared about charlotte, even the terrible one (and especially the terrible one) and it kind of wasn't his fault that every charlotte really Went Through It because like, it's not like he controlled anything in his terrible custom-made afterlife

on the other hand, i think if you're looking for the kind of dad who will teach you how to fix a car and be like...generally mentally healthy, maybe you should find another dad.

still, he tries, kind of, which is more than you can say about a lot of fictional dads.

i also used to play huey laforet, who will also not be winning any father of the year awards, unless it is kind of like the razzies of fathers

anyway immoral scientists who only really care about their own goals are not great parents, go figure, etc

so i am 0/2 on dads who taught their kids how to throw a perfect spiral. SAD.

on the other side, i have a character whose parents died almost 3 centuries ago and another who was "born" from a flower so. nothin to write home about in the father department
