Nora does the most adorable thing. She rises up on her hind legs, puts one paw on my knee and stretches her other paw up to grab my hand and pull it down to her face, then she rubs her face against it. It's the ultimate PET ME! PET ME! PET ME! My heart always melts.

For me, it's when my baby, who normally lays on me like this: is wanting pets along with the cuddles so if I try to move my hand away she reaches and grabs it and pulls it back to her, and she'll stay with it resting on my wrist so she can immediately stop me if I go to move it again. XD

that sounds so perfectly adorable, I am so so glad that you found her, she's definitely the right cat for you.

lol mine have always been snuggly, but the hand-grabbing thing is 1:10 for me! It's precious when they do it

So, I discovered a new way to get her to come to me. Look at her. I mean, engage in a staring contest. Look, look, look, and she comes closer each time I blink. hahaha

It's how she puts herself, from the time she was a wee little bebe She comes on my lap, kneads, finishes, sits sideways (so she's facing to the right of me), leans into me, and then sorta drops herself back? and settles into my arm. She's a goofy little critter. She almost never lays normal

on my lap, so I end up one-armed constantly lmao. Also amusingly, none of my previous 7 cats liked bellyrubs, but she and one of the other two are cool with them though don't actively seek them, while the 3rd one flops over & rolls around like a dog begging for bellyrubs hahaha

Nora will flop on the floor about 4 feet away and roll on her back wiggling like she wants a belly rub but don't you dare accept the invitation.

hahaha yeah, that's pretty common XD I was surprised that all three of mine are so different than the "standard" cat thing of the exposed belly trap
