some general newbie tips --

- if you place a conveyor belt, you can just draw another one over it and it'll automatically add the junction

- relatedly, junctions will do 99% of the time over bridges, you only need a bridge if something OTHER than a conveyor is in your way

- things that are direct upgrades of other things - advanced mining rigs, titanium conveyors, etc - can just be built right over the lower-tier version without erasing it

- arc turrets are GREAT because they don't require a conveyor belt to provide them with ammo, fantastic for just stuffing in gaps between other turrets

- if your turret wall is full on ammo, provide an overflow router to pipe the excess materials back into your base

- your base can hold up to 4k of each resource

- different maps have different amounts of time between launch opportunities

-Sometimes you get a base that can hold up to 9k of each resource

- Providing water to tier 2 drills is a real nice boost

- Maps are slightly randomized each time, so you won't always get easy access to the resources you want right away

- Once you have a hefty sum of Copper and Lead at the base, whenever you can edit your loadout to drop with just a big fat pile of both already in your base

- Don't forget about the pause button, you can plan buildings out while paused and then unpause to build them all super fast

-once your base is full of resources, redirect the excess to Launch Platforms to boost extra stuff into space for fun and profit I sent 4200 titanium to space using one launch platform earlier.

- routers will offload to ALL available directions other than the input direction, provided a conveyor or building is available in that direction. Handle with extreme care

- similarly, mining rigs will offload resources in all directions if anything that can accept those resources is available

so building assembly lines very tightly together is an exercise in Conveyor Belt Tetris
