it's a "cheat" but I personally see nothing wrong with it because it only impacts your own game. you just turn off your switch's date/time sync and reset your date.

so for turnips, either to the previous or next Sunday. then after you've sold, just turn your time sync back on.

i nickel and dime it i catch a fuckton of bugs and fish, go on the mystery island tours and stock up on crap and whatever i don't need i sell. and I've done the forcing a tarantula/scorpion island thing a few times but that's kind of a pain in the ass.
