The Miracle Sudoku

did you know watching somebody solve a sudoku can be absolutely riveting

just the sheer progression from

"this is not possible, he's trolling me"

to "this is a work of sublime genius"

he very nearly writes it off but then you can see the puzzle brain engaging, almost against his will

and the incredulity and growing awe as he slowly realizes just how much information is contained in those absurd restrictions

the multiple points where he's like "okay, I think this is as far as it's possible to go" and then keeps trying anyway and it keeps working
