If you have a headset for your phone, you can use that. It's got a microphone, and having earphones means no echo.

Kara Timtam , I'll likely only be doing "meetings" on my PC. Are there adapters that would allow a phone headset to be plugged into a PC? My understanding is microfurn plus in the red hole and speakers plug in green.

To use a cellphone headset (earbuds w/ mic) with a computer that has separate jacks for microphone and headset, you need a splitter like this:

1M 3.5mm MicAudio Cable 2 Male To 1 Female Earphone ...

(I use the other direction, my laptop has an "all-in-one" jack, but I have a cheapo lapel mic taped to my headphones.)

As far as mics for zoom, I have one of these cheapo mics, it actually works pretty good.

Protip: Use "US only" when getting stuff from eBay, stuff from China/HongKong takes a month or more to get here.

The tradeoff being that China/HK is lots cheaper.
