I should start learning knitting while I have nothing else to do. Anyone got any good recommendations for beginners?

I keep bouncing from one thing to another and my brain is a bit fragmented so I figure I might as well do something that keeps my hands occupied

Sadly, I am still only a beginner of knitting. Crochet is my forte.
