Character Moms!

Nice to do these meme's now that I'm in a game again

Starting with the one who just got accepted - Chocolat never knew her biomom. She died when she was way too early

she did eventually get an adoptive mother when she was around five but she besides being trained as a Hunter under her they never got especially close and although legally her mom Chocolat never saw her as one

And then she died as well when Chocolat was still pretty young

I mean, I guess she always has Big Mama. Who is the matron of the church she works under. That counts as a mom figure, right?

John also never knew his mom. And, technically he never had one? He's a test-tube child who he crated himself because of time fuckery. I guess biologically his mom is technically his grandma, and he did get to talk to her as a ghost AFTER she died and he does love and appreciate her a lot

he could do without all the cake baking though

Sanzo's mom died not long after childbirth and she died protecting him by sending him down a river in a basket. According to Ukoku in canon she was very young and was in a controversial relationship with a much older Chinese political figure, and it's highly likely that it was his fathers political rivals who hired people to kill off the both of them

and Phoenix is the only one out of my most recently played characters who has a still alive and loving mother. We don't hear about her much in the canon, but she does call him before his first court case in the second game, which means she's there in his life
