Nearing the end of Arlong Park for my One Piece re-read. This entire arc is amazing, between Nami's flashback and the struggles that she goes through, Usopp's character development, and everything else that it has to offer.

Every hit that Luffy lands on Arlong is so satisfying to watch.

The earlier arcs held up as well, but I was definitely reminded about why people say that this is where the series picks up.

It's a nice touch that Luffy never actually sees Dragon's face.

I mean, Sanji's not wrong, exactly...

I can't wait for Brook to have his tear-jerking reunion with Laboon, only for Luffy to interrupt it so he can fight Laboon again.

Reading Little Garden makes me hope that we get an Elbaf arc at some point, though I feel like that depends on how Big Mom is handled.
