sometimes I really hate when advertisements use memes, or companies have twitter accounts that use them to try and be "hey I'm one of the cool kids! really!"

but sometimes they are amusing

that's not how money works.

I have heard some fascinatingly terrible advertisements lately

Including a 2 and a 1/2 minute advertisement for someone running for local office that presented it like he was announcing a monster truck rally, including the phrase "taxation is theft" shouted multiple times

I'm not going to disagree with that phrase but there are less cringey ways to present it

It was on a daily motion video, and I have no way of remembering who it was and no other details except it was horrible

see, I appreciate "so bad it's good" but not when you are running for office. that is not the time to do "so bad it'sgood"
