I had a thought of like, what if Originium has a "will" of sorts? Causing Catastrophes not randomly, but premeditatedly. And the voice Ifrit, Specter, Ptilopsis, etc hear is the will of the originium?
inspired by the thought of the Abyssal Hunters and their weird bullshit being almost Cthulu-esque. Or, legitimately Cthulu, going by Deepcolor and her being related to the Abyssal Hunters while having a badge that literally says CTHULU
but obviously the Doctor is somebody Ifrit looks up to. She cares about what they think of her, and is very conscious of the fact they have EXPECTATIONS from her.
Because Silence (and Ptilopsis) handle most of Ifrit's medical care, and because Kal'tsit is the way she is, Ifrit probably sees her as the Extreme White Coat of Rhodes Island
Frostleaf I don't think made too much of an impression at first, but after that sidestory bit, she probably sees Frostleaf as somebody reasonable to turn to. IF she can, like, ever get over herself enough to turn to somebody.
