Infinity Frontier is a good cast

But I think there was some disagreement on what the story was ABOUT

Emily conceived it as an Isekai story while I think a lot of the rest of us latched onto it being a transhumanist cyberpunk thing

Resulting in some arguments about how much access the cast would have to the outside world once the main plot ended

Basically: is the Alliance of Awesome coming to terms with WHERE they are or WHAT they are?

So my proposal is this:

Push IF back onto it’s isekai rails

Make new cast about transhumanist AI nonsense that is the full cyberpunk

No idea what that would look like but I’ll leave this idea on the back burner for now

Okay so like

An evil AI manages to get itself into a human body and goes on a rampage through the physical world

The human who’s mind got displaced into the digital world must now team up with a sassy robotic detective to hunt down their wayward body

Conducting simultaneous physical and digital investigations
