I'd be game with that

the cyberpunk stuff is really more in the background, the idea that popped into my head mostly had to do with the elves in which humanity found a new planet but it wasnt uninhabited but they didnt stand a chance if they passed it over

and humanity does as humanity does and basically started a war over the land

magic vs technology basically ended in a stand still with the number of casualties high on either side so a cease fire came about and the planet was kind of split between humans and elves with a no man's land between the two

that no mans land is the most old west things get

alternatively space travel comes into it and the no mans land is any planets between the one the elves helped humans move to and the one the elves have kept (or vice versa)

other alternative is we pull from destiny and at some point in the past the earth looked like it was done for so humanity (the richest and most useful) piled onto ark ships and made an attempt to flee, those that did leave the planet ended up turning back for whatever reason, blahblahblah earth is left in ruins and needs to be rebuilt

and somehow space elves and magic comes into play (and maybe some bug aliens like the fallen)

I would be all over something like this aaaa

only somewhat related because im reading this manga now and omg its ridiculous, i love it

anyway my character idea is def a space elf, prosthetic arm? legs? idk yet, weapons of choice include something like an oni club and a gun kinda like a cross between a pistol and a shotgun that fires magic bullets, actual history and stuff depends on the version of the setting

leaning more toward the prosthetic legs as they could give a boost to speed and jump height
