[work] I'm so annoyed they made us go into work today just to shut down at 2 because of the snow

Like this morning it was JUST rain, but the news was all "IT'S GOING TO PICK UP AND GET REAL BAD IN THE AFTERNOON DON'T GO OUT"

But noooo because over half the county is working from home they were like "naw it's fine"

My supervisor got mad at noon and was like "SCREW THEM WE ARE GOING HOME NOW"

But dear god the drive home sucked

I had to find places to stop along a highway three times to clean off my windshield wipers because they got so encased in slush

I'm hoping they just give us a snow day tomorrow
