Probably true. Not sure anyone has done a decent job of expanding on what Einstein did.

Dirac's melding of QM and Special Relativity, followed by Quantum Electo-Dynamics, Yang-Mills Theory and Quantum Chromo-Dynamics are a kind of progress but don't incorporate General Relativity. Loop Quantum Gravity looks like the most promising avenue for doing that, atm.
