Oh yeah, the heat won't be the problem, but you want to drink lots and lots of water and take it easy your first few days

You'll get tired and dehydrated much more easily at altitude, so slam the water and don't go run a marathon or anything

If you stay on top of the water (not liquids, not soda, WATER) and don't drink too much alcohol you'll be totally fine.
