do you like the shade? then it's good. but if you're worried, then try to figure out your undertone and skin tone.

(keep in mind I wear black/grey/blue lipstick on the regular so my advice may be slightly biased.)

as for not rubbing off, that is difficult--you have to find a brand/formula that's meant to stay, and those can dry your lips out like crazy. if you don't like that, carry the shade you're wearing and reapply.

COVERGIRL Outlast Lipstain is awesome. Easy, dries fast, color stays on, lots of shades though they tend to be more muted than vibant
