So last night as I was getting my stuff out of my car in our driveway, I was startled by what I thought was a dog growling at me. My dad got a few alerts on his Ring doorbell app from the neighbourhood about coyotes around, though, and he's now convinced it was a coyote.

Moreover, he also keeps looking out the windows in the front yard hoping to see tracks in the yard/driveway. I'm equal parts "ah, bless" and exhasperated

I'm not so sure it was a coyote, but I also didn't get a good look at it because I'm scared of dogs in person so I just bolted inside the house quick as I could

Our neighbour on one side doesn't have a dog and the ones on the other side confirmed theirs was in their house at the time it would have happened, but it's possible it was a neighbourhood dog that had gotten out.
