[teeth] learned today that my grandma had dentures at 16, my great grandfather had them, my nana has them, and my nanny might have but mom can't remember.

I don't feel so bad now, being 29 with full dentures

TEETH ARE REAL WEIRD MAN and tbh so much of how they hold up is genetic and can't be controlled no matter how careful you are
nice guy goose
like taking care of them is absolutely important but sometimes the deck is super stacked against you . . .
i wasn't careful tbh but dang if the odds weren't stacked against me a bit XD

on my dads side, idek, most of that family cut us off when Baba died
I know long roots are a thing on that side though

and then my aunt added on: grandma lost all her teeth in a car accident at 16 ;; which also caused her to develop epilepsy... my family catches no breaks, do they?
